Key Objectives and Focus Areas
- HIV/AIDS Prevention: Deliver targeted outreach services to key populations at higher risk of HIV infection, including Female Sex Workers (FSWs), Men who have Sex with Men (MSMs), Transgender individuals (TGs), and Injecting Drug Users (IDUs).
- STI Management: Provide timely diagnosis, treatment, and counselling services for sexually transmitted infections to reduce transmission and improve health outcomes.
- Behaviour Change Communication (BCC): Conduct continuous awareness campaigns promoting safer sexual practices, condom usage, and destigmatization of affected populations.
- Health Service Access: Facilitate access to HIV testing and counselling, antiretroviral therapy (ART), and other essential healthcare services through linkages with government health facilities.
- Community Mobilization and Support: Build peer networks and support groups to empower high-risk communities, promote adherence to treatment, and foster an enabling environment.
